In a country with almost a 100% literacy rate, providing Bibles and related literature is a huge opportunity.  The new Christian center houses Yamaguchi prefecture’s (i.e. “state”) only Christian bookstore.  Pray that God would fill the churches in Shimonoseki with plenty of solid doctrine literature to feed the flocks and that they would distribute the literature to their friends.  Pray that people off the street would not hesitate to visit the bookstore.  Pray that God would multiply the number of workers and writers for the growing Japanese Christian publishers. Pray for Mr. Kubota who manages the store, especially that God would given him wisdom, physical strength, and a good team of volunteer workers.   Pray that book tables can be place in various areas of the city and at different churches.
